ITV Studios
The Challenge
Working in remote locations poses a serious challenge for ITV as often there is very limited, unreliable or no internet connectivity for their teams and equipment.
To overcome this the ITV Studios teams were using a satellite internet connection, however this was expensive and suffered latency issues due to unreliable 4G mobile network routers.
The Solution
Utilising the Alliance Cloudcell service we were able to provide a cost effective, enterprise grade internet service in any location.
Utilising 4G and 5G mobile networks the Cloudcell smart routers connect to the best service available through high grade directional antennas to ensure the strongest and most stable internet connection. With the ability to connect to 4 different mobile networks simultaneously, these services can be bonded and provide automatic failover to alternative networks and connectivity. WAN smoothing ensures jitter free communications and Forward Error Corrections reduces latency, QoS also enable traffic prioritisation for Voice and Video.
